CONCRETE: four delivery forms

Four delivery forms are available for colouring Concrete. Powder, Compact, Granule and Liquid. Deviating colours that are not standard available can be supplied in a premixed form.

The world in colour with ASPHALT

A growing interest for the use of colour in the developed environment has existed in architecture and urban planning for some time now: coloured cycle lanes, car parks, sports parks and bus lanes. Red is popular, but there is also an increasing demand for other colours like yellow, green and blue. In addition to embellishing the environment, coloured bitumen is also applied for demarcation purposes.

Some examples for the use of coloured asphalt:
 
  • Factory sites where coloured lanes are used to indicate a thoroughfare and/or lane for dangerous substances and/or pedestrian paths.
  • Sports parks with inline skating lanes in different colours: for beginners up to advanced skaters
  • Children’s playgrounds: the age categories can be indicated with colour
  • Housing estates, 30 km zones have a specific colour
  • Car parks, parking spots in specific colour for passenger cars up to buses.
  • White asphalt is often applied to motorways running through tunnels as an accident prevention measure

PAINT and VARNISH: high quality and extremely environmentally friendly

The (paint) industry has been using our Bayferrox pigments and Chromium Oxide for colouring paint for years. These products are characterised by their high quality and the ease with which they are processed.
 
PLASTIC worthy of consideration

As a rule, pigment for colouring plastics has to meet the highest technical requirements. This depends on the product that has to be coloured, i.e. films, soles, bottles or containers. We are accustomed to these high requirements because complying with these is standard practice in the course of our business.
 
For short mixing and in the machine, the pigments have to be readily dispersible and the desired colour should be quickly obtained. They have to have a high degree of heat resistance, display no migration and be capable of withstanding all light and weather conditions. Properties unlike any others.
 
Unprecedentedly beautifully coloured WOOD CHIPS
 
Coloured wood chips is a relatively new product, which can be used to give a decorative, coloured appearance to landscape surfaces. It comes in all kinds of shapes and sizes and has a wide application use. For example, it can be used on a drive or the entrance to a playground. There are, however, also many possibilities for small-scale projects. Take for instance the decorative layer on top of the soil in flowerpots. By adding BayScape®, a pigment form specially developed for this application, the wood chips develop a colour easily during the shredding or mixing process because the colours from Scholz are durable and economically sound. Colours that up to now could not be achieved with the known bark mulch come to life.
